Peace Love Hip Hop is proud to announce our 2019 Summer Intensive. We have put together a line up of diverse, dynamic, and DOPE Master teachers. And we are inviting dancers from all over the country to spend a week with us in beautiful Charleston, SC training with 11 of the greatest Hip Hop & Contemporary visionaries at our beautiful PLHH Training Facility. The week will also include not only THE BEST training but leadership classes, Dance Battles, Movie Night & a Skyzone party!! This intensive camp will be the unforgettable dance experience of a lifetime. Learn, grow, dance, and shine brighter next year!
Greg Chapkis is a dancer, choreographer, producer, and studio owner. Greg started his dance career in the Ukraine with a professional Ukrainian dance troop. A few years after moving to the USA, he opened his own studio in California. Greg has competed on SYTYCD, America’s Got Talent, and NBC’s World of Dance. He has choreographed major productions for companies including Disney, Six Flags, the Golden State Warriors, and recording artist Ciara, to name a few. Greg has also produced over 30 TV shows and events. He now owns one of the most respected hip hip studios in the country, Chapkis Dance Family, and is known as a hip hop legend.
Geo Hubela is a choreographer, dancer, teacher, and producer. He is co-owner and director of ICON Dance Complex. Geo has choreographed internationally for numerous productions, movies, and commercials. Some of his most recognized national commercials include Old Navy, Best Buy, Campbell’s Soup, to name a few. As a performer, Geo has danced with stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith, P!nk, Britney Spears, NSYNC, Jessica Simpson, Selena Gomez, and Michael Jackson, among others. He has danced on MTVs Americas Best Dance Crew and Americas Got Talent. Geo’s ICONic Dancers perform professionally at the Apollo Theater, Madison Square Garden and on Nickelodeon and MTV.
Angel Roberts is a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and costume designer with over 20 years of dance and production experience. Angel was awarded an Emmy for her costume design work on That 70s Show. She is also the founder of the national dance movement and studio Peace Love Hip Hop located in Charleston, SC. Angel’s studio is now one of the largest and most respected hip hop studios in the country. Her competitive hip hop groups compete at national dance competitions. She tours the country teaching a positive message with her creative choreography and energy. Angel is also the costume designer and stylist for Showstopper Magazine.
Gev Manoukian is a hip hop and break dancer, as well as a world-renowned ice skater. He danced his way to the Top 10 on Season 4 of SYTYCD. Gev performed as a principal dancer in several movies and TV shows such as Disney’s High School Musical 2, Glee, and the MTV musical American Mall. He also danced on DWTS and America’s Got Talent. Gev has performed with numerous artists including Ludacris, Whitney Houston, LeeAnn Rimes, and P!nk at the 2010 AMAs. He has also appeared in several music videos for artists like Fresh Beat Band, Big Time Rush, and Figure It Out, among others.
Nathan Trasoras is a dancer and choreographer with his own unique style. He danced his way to the Top 5 on Season 6 of SYTYCD. Nathan performed on The Voice, Glee, 90210, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, America’s Got Talent, and The Jay Leno Show. He performed with Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, The Pussycat Dolls, Wyclef Jean, Will.I.Am, Rihanna, and Christina Aguilera, among others. He also made appearances in commercials for Nike, Cadbury Chocolate, and Red Barron Pizza, to name a few. As a presidential scholar, Nathan performed a solo at the Spotlight Awards and in New York for Mikhail Baryshnikov.
Taylor Quinn is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, model, and actress. She danced for FireWALL Dance Theatre run by Elisa Alaio, and is one of Showstopper’s all-time top scoring soloists. Taylor worked with several artists including Kill the Noise, Phillip Chbeeb, Alyson Stoner, and Dillon Francis. She made her television debut with a national commercial for McDonalds. Taylor modeled for the cover of Alex Linaresâ’s book, The Art of Dancing. Taylor also travels around the country teaching and choreographing for different dancers and studios.
Our very own Marcus Payne has been creating award winning Peace Love Hip Hop routines for 3 years, and several years prior in his home state of Nebraska. He is a member of Academy of Villians. He has traveled the world teaching & choreographing Hip Hop.
Our very own Bryant Culler has been an award winning competitive dancer since the age of 9. He has been featured on Dance Moms, America’s Got Talent. He has received Top Solo awards at multiple dance competitions as well as a finalist for Billy Elliot. He travels the US choreographing & teaching his own unique style.
Tyler Cook has been a working professional dancer since age 16. He has toured with Sunny Malouf & Jake Paul on the Team 10 Tour. He has performed at several NFL Halftime shows with Jordan Sparks, Run DMC & All for One. He is a Monsters of Hip Hop Nominee for the past 3 years & has been teaching competitive Hip Hop Crews on the East Coast since he was 15.
Danny Jiminez has been a competitive Hip Hop, Contemporary & Jazz dancer for 4 years. He has been a featured dancer in film & television. He currently choreographs & teaches at several different studios in the Charlotte area.
