Competitive Hip Hop

Competitive Team Requirements: Competitive kids should attend all three of their Competitive Hip Hop classes.

Class attendance is important! Being part of a competitive team requires commitment. Every member of the team is an integral part of each dance. Missed rehearsals mean potentially losing placement in a routine. If your child cannot attend a practice it is important that prior notice is given.

Although competitive practice will be fun, we are there to WORK. The atmosphere for competitive is a bit more demanding. Dancers will be expected to show up to class 5-10 minutes early and be ready to start right on time. Proper dance attire is required.

There will be required weekends for conventions and competitions later in the year. Dancers are expected to be available and understand the costs associated with attending.

We work hard to keep our award winning costumes and competition costs as low as possible.

Monthly competitive fees include:

• 4 competitions - 2 routines per event

• 2 costumes

• Any additional weekend rehearsal time

• Misc Make-up/swag

• A PLHH Backpack

• A PLHH Garment Bag

• A PLHH Sweat Suit

The following is NOT included in the monthly rate:

• Competition shoes

• Production costume and competition fee - This will be optional.

• Recreational costume and shoes

• Competition and costume fee for any additional routines or classes outside of the scope of the above - These will always be optional
